Are your candles and melts handmade?
Always. Every candle and wax melt is poured by hand in small batches usually with a cup of coffee nearby and a playlist in the background. As a disabled maker, I pour each one with intention, care, and the same love for the process that helped me rediscover myself through making.
Are all your melts identical?
Never! Each melt is one-of-a-kind. I don’t recreate exact designs, even if the colors or vibes are similar. Every pour takes on its own look unique swirls, layers, and patterns that make it yours alone. They’re tiny pieces of wax art, perfectly imperfect and full of personality. No generic pours here at OhWick.
Do you test your scents before selling them?
Absolutely. My home smells like a candle lab most days! I test every scent for quality, mood, and throw (that’s how well it fills a room) until it feels right. If I wouldn’t burn it myself, it doesn’t make the cut.
All OhWick products are CLP compliant and fully insured safety and quality always come first.
What kind of wax do you use?
At OhWick, because we’re a little bit extra, we use a mix of waxes from soy to coconut to custom soy blends. Every scent behaves differently, so we test each one across different waxes to see where it shines brightest. We only release the versions that smell the strongest and most balanced. Please check the product listing for the wax type used in each scent.
How long will it take to get my order?
Since everything’s handmade by one pair of hands, please allow a few days for your order to be poured, cured, and packed with care. I make and send each piece as quickly as I can with the same patience and intention that goes into every pour.

My candle looks a little different , is that normal?
Totally! Waxes have minds of their own. Tiny bubbles, frosting, or texture shifts happen naturally they don’t affect the scent or burn. I like to think of them as freckles little signs of a real handmade pour.
Can I send an OhWick candle or melt as a gift?
Yes, please do! Just leave a note at checkout with your message, and I’ll wrap it up with love and care. You can even ship it straight to your person good scents and good energy included.
Why did you start OhWick?
OhWick was born during full-blown burnout — the kind where weekdays blur and weekends barely exist. Pouring candles became my way back to myself. Now I make them for anyone who needs a small moment of calm, comfort, or joy.
